I'm considering buying my first Mercedes. My mechanic let me test drive a 1998 E300 turbodiesel he was selling, which was pretty nice. However, it was black which IMHO doesn't look good on a W210. Anyways, I did a little research and found the 2002 E320 is available at a similar price.

Which would you choose between the two? What is the difference in gas mileage between the turbodieseland the E320? What are the pros and cons of each? Thanks for your help!

 

How much each?how many miles?who is selling them.2002 is a face lift model more modern looking,expect 27 hway about 23 average on the gas.Easier to work on the gas,parts are cheaper and easier to diagnose.

I don't have any cars in particular in mind, but generally they seem to be about the same price, however the turbodieselsgenerally have higher mileage (80-150k) than the E320 (50-100k).
