W201 190E diesel, engine swap. Need wiring diagram
Hi guys,
first of all, sorry for my english, I live in europe.
I just bought a W201 with 2.0 Diesel. The reason is, I'm building an offroad car and I need a reliable and basic engine with good torque. From what I found this engine should make the job. Anyway, I just took of the engine from the car and found out, that lot of things are controled by vacuum. It seems to me from the first look, that even the fuel valve (which opening and closing fuel to the engine) is controled by vacuum directly from the key switch. It also seems that wiring will be pretty easy, there are probably wires just for starter, alternator, glow plugs (not sure about this english word) and gauges.
My questions are:
- do you know where I can find wiring harness and/or vacuum harness for this engine, or for the whole car?
- do you know how exactly works the speedometer on this diesel? I will not use original dashboard and I already have from previous project some aftermarket gauges which was previously bought for an gasoline V8, so I'm not sure if I could reuse this speedometer gauge.
Thanks a lot
Robin
