Default w124 e320 fuel pump relay socket melted help!

Fuel pump relay was blowing fuses and I needed to move the car from where tow truck left it. Jumped pin 7 and 8 as I had often seen suggested during searches to troubleshoot. Got the car moved and solved the original problem (fuel pump terminal heavily corroded) but not before melting the fpr socket and fusing 3 wires. I took them out of the socket and separated them but now have continuity between the two heavier wires (red, red/white) and brown ground. Im hoping I can access wherever these wires come from without harness removal. I cut the shield back from fpr socket until it joined the larger section of harness in back of the engine but there was no other damage to be seen. Any ideas? Any wiring diagram for dummies? Any help would be sincerely appreciated.
