Default Urgent Help - Stalling 2000 E320

Hi, All. I own a 2000 E320 with about 101,000 miles on it. Recently, I started experiencing problems with the car starting (itstalls - I can hear the engine attempting to start, but it won't catch). It will, however, start/re-start if I turn it completely off and wait 30 minutes before trying again. Today I was on my way home and it reduced to a speed of 40 mph and then eventually turned completely off. It didn't restartfor about 45 minutes. Any idea what's causing it?

Hi,

CEL (Check Engine Light) On?
Any codes stored?

If neither then as suggested by Raymond likely the CPS (Crank Position Sensor) located on the bell housing.
Distictive fault signature.
Straight forward DIY.
