You have 2 drain plugs that are of interest, one on the pan to drain the fluid out before you removethe panand another one on the torque convertor. Just buy a new filter, pan gasket, drain plug gaskets, and about 7 quarts of your favorite ATF (Mobil 1 works great by the way) and you should be good to go.......

After you've drained all of the fluid, changed your filter, and reinstalled the pan, pour about 4 quarts of the new ATF in, start the car and let it idle, then begin adding more ATF to get it to the right level on the dip stick. Make sure to run it through the gears to get the fluid into the clutch packs and then go for about a 7 mile ride to get the tranny up to temp. Park on a level surface then check the fluid level again adding if necessary. Piece of cake!!!

One more note is don't overfill it, if you find that you have too much fluid in it drain it out to the correct level.
