I have a '97 E420 with 115k. Had a trans mount break about 3k ago which damaged flex disc. Dealer replaced flex disc and shifter box which also had some damage (saw some filings from disc in box). Since then I sometimes experience some problems when shifting. Most likely time - accelerating from a stop, going uphill, 20-30 mph, hear a "clunk" as shifts. Seems to only happen once at that shift point, only occurs when under load. Rides fine after that. Taking it back to dealer tomorrow, but would like to hear any thought on whether this is related to earlier incident or not. Thanks.
