Am looking for a reliable trans guy. My 300E smoked the Steels and fibers when the previous owner was too lazy to fix the drain plug gasket and let it leak and never checked it. I currently have it at an independent MB shop and he has had the trans for 3 yrs. I bought new fibers and an oring seal kit as i was going to have another trans shop do it but they had it for 3 mo and then he said he did em so i took it to him.Since i had already spent around 5 grand their i figured he would get it done.Ha! I dont think i can be sociable on the phone. I might have to find a reliable MB trans shop that i can deal with that is half way close to Kansas as shipping could be crazy. Im sure i can get my money back for the parts.Id go over their,but he is 90 mi away and dont have a dependable vehicle id trust to go that far and borrowing is a pain.
