thinking of buying 99 E320 wagon
Hi all,
I am thinking of buying a 99 E320 wagon with 92K for $7500. Is there anything that I should be looking for as far as problematic issues are concerned? I had a 93 190E for a number of years and enjoyed it tremendously until I handed of to my son and he wrecked it. The wagon is a certified vehicle from the Mercedes dealership in Kansas City.
thanks,

Won't be a cpo car at that age and miles.Might have a second party warranty. At that price they either got it at auction or traded low for it with something wrong.Check rust(an issue)inspect front spring perches(an issue) make sure the harmonic balancer recall was completed.Take it to an independent inspection.Price seems low for a 99 from a dealer.Be wary.

I am a little confused, MB only certifies vehicles while they are under warranty, and then extends it. The 99 would have run out at 4/50 the previous owner could have added another 4/50 that would make it run out at 8/100 which should be up. If it has been previously certified means nothing!
