My in-dash eyeglass holder seems to be stuck, and yes my reading glasses are in there but do not appear to be the reason that prevent the drawer to not open. Is there an "emergency" release located by the glove box door and where is it located or do I have to destroy the tray and get a new one because it has failed?

actually seen it many times, bang it hard with the side of your fist, keep trying a few times, if that doesnt work pull it out with something.
