My '04 E320 wagon seems to have a "binding" or restrictive feel in the front end when it is at an almost full turn in the steering rack(for example when pulling into a parking spot...no wheel hop, just not smooth.) I did just put 4 new all season tires on the car and wonder if the tread pattern is causing this sensation. The car has 54K on it and there is no "clicking" sound(CV's) and it does roll well in or out of gear. Is there a possibility that a CV could be hanging up or that the transfer case could have a viscosity complex or is this really just the tires? Any recalls on the '04 4-matics drivetrain? Thanks, Bob
