It is the first time I write on this forum, I'm Italian so I wish you understand me. I have bought a E 320 Coupè ( 2002 ). Everything worked oK but suddenly the screen showed me " electrical problem " but I coudn't notice anything wrong. Then I went on holiday but when i went back the battery was dead so i recharged them. Now I have problems with door lock and gasoil indicator. The service suppose, without having seen my car, that it could be an electronic circuit that was dead. Couldn't be a fuse or something else instead ? In this case could you give me a fuse scheme. I'm looking forward your reply.

First of all I must give thanks for your reply.
Yes I think I have W 211 but I don't understand what you mean when you say "there was a service measure".
The battery now is ok, the engine starts, all is ok except door lock and gasoil indicator. I have these problems since I changed the battery.

The door lock is dead, for example when I try to open/close the car with the remote ( remote's batterie are ok ) the lock doesn't react. The display gave no fuel indication ( it seems that there isn't fuel ). I wish to be more precise.

Yes, it's the same with both keys. But the dialer ( without seeing my car ) said that there is an unique elettronic circuit that controls both fuel level and doors look. Furthermore the display show the message " display problems" or something similar.

there is nothing in common between your door lock and the fuel level sensor. they are two completely separate problems.
"display problem" means you got one or two messages stored inside the instrument cluster. can you please read it and tell us what could it might be? just use the scroll button.
the door lock can be a PSE pump or key problem. does your key emits red LED when you push it? the battery is okay?
the fuel gauge can be a fuel level sensor problem.
without actually checking the car, all we can do is guess according to experience.

I might be wrong, (Yes Again), but the above car does not exist.
Could it be a CLK320?? with a 209 chassis? I which case these two items run through the "Rear SAM". This is a control unit in the boot of the car.
I don't think this is a Do it yourself job, and it is most likely that the Rear SAM will need to be replaced. But then again, I have been known to be wrong

Then again, they could be 2 seperate problems??
