My 1999 E320 witk 91K mile had stalling problem, when stop at traffic light, I was able to start the car again and go fine

Air mass sensor replace @ 70K
Cat replaced @ 90K
Spark plug & wire replaced @ 90K

Just bought the fuel filter, but not replace yet

Can some one advice what is the cause of stalling?

dirty throttle valve if the rpm goes down below 500 rpm whenever you release the accelerator.

 

car stalling a lot now, and ater few minutes, I start again , go for a while and stalled again.
I do not see RPM go below 500, car just stall by itself

Could it be fuel pump ???

check the fuel filter as well.

 

I will attemp to replace the fuel filter, I bought it last week but still does not have a change to replace it yet, by any change do you know where is the filter locate ? car is E320 1999

The car tend to stall while in traffic than driving normal speed at freeway, could is be hot issue with tempature related

TC_Sj, I am having the same problem with my 2000 E320, When i drive the car in city area, it will stall when i stop at a traffic light, so far it has happened 3 times in the past week. Have you solved the problem on your car, if so, what was the problem and how was it fixed?

i having the same problem need help where to start diagnosis the problem today i was drive the car 1989 300e the abs and the srs light came on the freeway while i,m driving normal and then off and again the abs came on by it self then when i exit the freeway and stoped atthe trafic light the idle went very low the the car died on me tray to start the car no help and the battrey was very low .jump the battery the car start normal .after driving the car for 15 min checked the battery voltage was 12.56vdc with the car off .13.30 car running. the battery and altrnator one year old anyidea why the srs and abc lights came onat the first place andany sugestion what to check ,by the way few day ago when i turn my key to on before start not all the lights on the dash lightedonly two light cames on
