Default Spark Plug Cables for 190E - diagram

I bought spark plugs, I'll buy spark plug cables and I'll install it by myself.

Unfortunately, yesterday, when I did clean the motor, I removed old spark plug cables - I did not write the placement of cable connections.

Now, I am asking if anybody has diagram with details where to put cables - both sides.

Details: 190E, 2.0, Automatic,1986, 4 cylinders.

Thanks in advance!

the easiest way is to recognize that all 4 cylinder engines are 1-3-4-2...they all are. Now your spark plug wires should be sized to that degree eh? Your problem appears to be where the distributor wire ends go right?

Thanks for reply!

And - yes - I do not know where to put cables at distributor cap.

Is there any diagram, for this?

Thank you!

They should be a clockwise rotation, Faceing the distributor from left to right 1,2,3,and 4

Is this the way wires should be ordered?

How is it running? The wireing looks correct.

I'm not positive but I think the cap may have the numbers embossed on it....I know on my 300 they are...if you didn't move the engine with this stuff off this should be fairly easily solved. good luck

O.K lets try this, take the plug wirethat goes to the rear of the engine and place it on the dist. in the 8 O'clock position, then take the next one to the and place it inthe 4 O'clock position, the one after that place in the 10 O'clock and the last one in the 2 O'clock.

I hope this helps

Thanks for reply.

I have to say that I am a little bit afraid to put cables into that order.

Cables are nowbased on numbers at motor and numbers at distributor cap, but - as I said - it seems not to be ok.The numbers at the motor are 1342,and there are numbers at the distributors cap, and I put cables that way exactly.

Cables are in row from first to the last at the motor, and around the distributor's cap - also in a row.

You mentioned the solution where cables would not beordered ina row at distributors cap.

I made a simple diagram.

Grey color - numbers - existing numbers - at the motor and at the distributors cap.
Black color - letters - cables are now ordered that way.
Blue color - letters - your suggestion.
Red color - rotating the cables 90 degrees counterclockwise.

Have you any official diagram forthis, any hyperlink which explains this?I have to say that I really tried to find any good diagram and explanation for this issue, but surprisingly, it seems that it is not easy to find good official explanation.
