<IMG src=smileys/smiley6.gif border="0">I have 18 month old 230 SLK. When starting up from cold, there is a graunching noise in the gearbox which last for a few seconds. Mercedes say they don't know of such a problem. When they've had the car in they say they can't find the noise (typical) Anyone else had the same problem. It never recurs during day.
