best way to check the cluster is to put a good one on it. if it works, then that's it. checking the electronic system is a long way to discuss.

i suggest you get second opinion from a good technician by letting him check the problem.

your brod's car...what model?

It's a 95 Hyundai Sonata. Everything else on the cluster works.

I found a seller on ebay that has the cluster for my car. Will the mileage change if I replace the cluster?

am not sure about your version but it needs to adapt either from the car, old cluster or you can enter the desired mileage if it is new.
