Default REST function

Is there any way to disable the REST function on the climate control?
Rest comes on all the time when engine is off and drains the battery.
The only way I can stop this is to remove fuse #4 from under the hood.
I have read that I need a new climate control unit.

Default RE: REST function

This is my first mercedes had a cadillac before lasted a very long time
I have the E320 in my garage with the fuse pulled #4 so the battery will not deplete
there is no responce to my post so I take this is not a common problem with the
climate control unit REST button.

Im also a roadside technician.... I had a problem like this once.. I did the same thing, just pulled the fuse for them and told them to take it into the shop... I think its a defective push button unit..
