Default Replacing factory radio on 1999 E320

I am interested in replacing the current factory radio/cd changer because the changer sticks frequently, the radio display is barely readable, it would be nice to have an iPod connection & display, and a phone bluetooth connection makes sense. Anybody have a recommendation on a good replacement radio? Don't need a CD changer since I feel the iPod will suffice. I am thinking about the Pioneer unit that sells for about $330. I may install it myself.
