anybody ever had it done? I have done everything I can think possible to clean my 1990 300TE pitted grill and nothing seems to be totally excellent. I have now considered having it rechromed although I have no idea as to cost nor success
(since I thought of this at 4PM on a Saturday and no metal shops are open)...any experience with this? Thanks....Cliff

 

Depends on where you live.In seattle there are several plating shops that you can send parts to and they will refinish depit and triple plate to ultra shine and smoothness.Check your town or city.

I am stunned to find out I can purchase an entire replacement grill for 70 dollars....brand new

 

Check the quality,if ebay forget it.It will look like crap.
