Rear differential
CAN ANYONE HELP PLEASE?
I am using the rear differential from an E Class Merc as a 3 to 1 reduction gearbox and not as part of a vehicle. There is a feed pipe to and a cross over pipe between the stub axles on the diff. Can anyone tell me what these pipes are for, how they are fed and will the rear axle function properly without this feed?
