Radio not working

Default Radio not working

I have a e320 2003 and the radio unit doesn't work anymore i thought the display (lcd) was gone . So i when to Mercedes an bought a new head control unit radio for the car and had them replace the old unit.... now the lcd turns on and it has a Mercedes sign(logo) then turns off....i cant play cd's or even listen to the radio....the cd changer will not open...... what can i do?

all fuses work fine,

I think that the head unit was obviously installed incorrect. Wrong wiring when the transfer of the head units is the likely problem. Go to an actualcar audio shop instead of a mercedes ran shop and have them rewire the new head unit or just check to see any obvious problems. If you dont know of any circuit city and best buy are some stores that can check it out

It could be what carman says. But this head units are usually crazy. I have had three W211s and ALL of them has had problems with those units. Current one worse than all the previous. And ipod will be a good solution, just kidding. Go to an MB dealer, make a fuzz and they will deal with the problem.
