I get annoying static noise from speakers randomly on my 99 E320. It's like a "blip blip blip sound" Is this from RF interference or is there some sort of malfunction on the speaker connections? Anyone else have this problem?

Also, I read the previous thread on radio reception, my FM reception is fine, but the AM is awful. Is this due to the antenna connector not plugged in? Can someone direct me as to where to look for this antenna plug? Thanks.

 

Blip Blip Blip?.......Try turning off your mobile phone or placing it way from the radio.

As for the AM reception, there is an aerial amplifier behind the LH? C piller cover. (Near the rear screen). Check and make sure that the connections are tight and your aerial amp has a good earth.
