Red face Radiator replace '92 400e

Hello,
Can someone pls be kind enough to direct me to a complete write up on how to remove and replace a radiator for my 1992 400E (images would be much appreciated)? I'm sure there's got to be a thread somewhere...I just can't find it.
thanks

Wink

I figured it out - it's pretty simple (if I can do it, anyone can...Really!). Remove plastic cover on top of radiator. Pull off two metal clips. Remove shroud. Note: Shroud has an upper and a lower piece held together by three 8mm bolts: 2 mid-right, 1 mid-left. Shroud assembly is held to the radiator by two smaller metal clips located at both ends of the shroud. Pull the clips straight up with pliers. Detach the transmission cooler hoses from the left side of the radiator using 19mm socket. Remove upper and lower radiator hoses using either 8mm socket or a Philips screwdriver - place a container at the bottom of the radiator to catch coolant and transmission fluid and save your cat from gulping in that poisonous green stuff. Pull the radiator straight up. It may seem like a tab at the bottom left of the radiator won't clear the manual fan's clutch (my 400E had a manual fan) but with a little maneuvering, some patience and plenty of prayer, that radiator will pull straight out. Do the reverse in putting the replacement radiator and don't forget to use phosphate-free anti-freeze.

Tip: Buy a new OE Behr on line instead of from the dealer. I saved at least $600 by buying a new radiator online and another few $100s by replacing it myself. Don't forget to treat the Mrs with the $$$ you saved. Next time you ask for tool money, she'll be VERY glad to fork it out.
