Hi - has anyone ever replaced a radiator on a '92 400E? If so, did you have to remove the radiator fan also? I'm trying to replace mine and there's a part at the bottom of the radiator that's directly blocked by the fan. Any tips? Help, help.

 

Update: I figured it out. It is a VERY tight fit but with a little maneuvering between the bottom shroud tab and the manual rad fan's viscous clutch, it is possible to pull the radiator out. Putting a new rad requires the same maneuvering being careful not to damage the cooling fins.
