i wanted to get the valentine one, but i dont like the window mount radar detectors, i remember when i was a kid my dad had a little dial in his on the center console of his 1985 380 sl that was an integrated radar detecotr and the buzzer would cut in through the speakers, do they make anything like that for the 2001 w210

 

I also dislike the window mount but avoiding tickets was more important to me. I have had the Valentine one for years and it has saved my *** many times, I can not express how satisfying it is to come around a corner going the speed limit with the cop just sitting there. After saeeing others it is the best .

 

It is my understanding that there are not many radar detectors better than Valentine.
There are different ways to mount if dig the web.

There are people that try out the detector for the weekend and then send them back.
You can purchase those radars under the "weekend specials" and save a few bucks.
