sounds like your fuel pump is not working. Turn the key on and listen for it, that's a quick way to tell if it's working or not.

well I think it's too late now because you were wanting to move it tonight but if I remember correctly it's located on the left rear of the vehicle in front of the axle. You should see a plastic cover that encloses the pump and filter. Fuel pump failures are not uncommon on the E series. Good Luck and please let me know how it all works out.

oh and sorry for the late reply. Sometimes I have time to read and reply and sometimes I don't. Depends on how much of my hair I'm pulling out with my 6 year old boy <IMG src=smileys/smiley4.gif border="0">

If you know for a FACT that the fuel pump is not the problem (of which I would not go by the faint smell of petrol as the indicator) then it has to be electrical. And that would be next to impossible to trouble shoot over the internet if you don't have any experience with this car. You've checked all of the fuses? The fuel pump has a relay it uses as well as a fuse. I'm not saying your wrong about the fuel pump but my money is still on that as your problem. Might be time to call a tow truck and have it taken to the shop!!
