My 87 300d has a dead climatre control for about the first 40 miles. Then if you shut off the car and restart it it will work. It has no power till then. The recurce switch will not light up and the controls are all dead. Plus it is suck in heat mode when this happens. But no fan at that time. Once it warms up it works great. I have searched and searched through wis and can't run down the problem.
