Oil consumption

I bought a very nice 98 E320 MB with 85K miles. It's great to drive and I love the car, BUT it seems to consume a quart of oil every 2,500 miles or so. Someone told me there had been a class-action lawsuit on MB concerning this problem. If you could give me information about this, I would be greateful.

You might wanna have your car inspected first by a cert. mb mechanic or check with your local MB dealer to see if they have a recall for your car.
