Hello,

I have a 1997 e320 with noisy doors. They creak and groan and I believe the nose comes from the center rod that holds the door open. I used spray white liltium grease and the noise did not go away. Does anybody know the proper way to oil the doors or is this a common problem with this car?

Ok I Found out this issue is the door check strap. Do I need to replace the door check strap and second does anyone have diagrams to remove the door panel to get to this part?
