noisy door creaks, groans e320
Hello,
I just bought my first mercedes. It is a 1997 e320. I have not found a solution to the creaking doors however. The driver door notes a oil symbol and every 7500 miles. I used white litium grease but it still creaks. The noise seems to be coming from the middle part that go into the door. Am I missing something? Does anybody know the proper way to oil the door and the product to use? Thanks.

This part that holds the door from swinging open 180-degrees is really ****ty in MB. It wears out easier and faster than the one in Toyota Corolla. So bad that every Benz dealer is experienced and skillful in replacing the part.
