Hey guys... Nice to meet you all. This is a bit of a crazy idea that I wanted to throw out there to see if anyone has either attempted to do it or knows what's involved.

I tried to import an 06-08 CLS320CDI from Germany and unfortunately Transport Canada and Benz Canada won't allow it... so I'm thinking Diesel Conversion on a CLS500.

I'm trying to start with a list of parts needed, and figure that since it's built on the same chassis (more or less) as the E320CDI it would be theoretically possible.

I'm looking for a clean, reliable, efficient and luxurious car to keep for a long time... and if I can make this conversion happen it's my #1 choice... otherwise...

Does anyone have a MINT condition, black on black E320CDI or E320 Bluetec up for sale in the next few months?
