New 300CE owner
Greeting All from the Aloha State,
Just became the proud owner of a 1992 300CE, Artic White with gray interior and 136K on the clock. I'm been fixing, driving and enjoying BMW's for many years and this is my first foray into the MB world. I purchased the car from a long time friend who happens to be a MB Master Mechanic. I've been lusting after the car for a long time and I finally prevailed. The car is in excellent condition having been in my friends hands for the last few years. I am very pleased with the way this car is put together and drives, and I love the lines of the W124 coupe. Those Germans really know how to build a car. I don't have any immediate plans for the car except some e-code headlights. I'm enjoying the MB driving experience and the difference from a BMW. Great to be onboard.
Aloha,
Mike

Welcome aboard! I have a'92 300TE 4matic and every time I sit in it, I smile.;-) They are a different ride from the BMW and I think for the better.
Hope your MB mechanic friend has kept the car tip top. Yeah, there's something about the lines of the W124 variants...I don't think they captured that again to this day.

+1 on the styling cues. My went through the car form stem to stern. He replaced the entire fuel system, new suspension components, brakes, tires and so on. It was his personal car and he is very fistidious about the cars he drives. We been friends for 25 years and I've never known a better mechanic.

Wow, then you should be able to enjoy that car for many yrs to come! I get offers on my car routinely, but since it took thirteen yrs to get it back from the ex, I expect to be buried in it.;-)
I don't know if these cars will ever be "classics" someday , but who knows?
