Just bought my first M-B - a 2003 E320 with 79k. It's in pretty decent shape but was apparently neglected in the maintenance areas. The brake warning is on so that's high on the to-do list.

Wanted to know if changing out the front disc brake pads is a sensitive brand or type choice. I'd like to put in EBC HH metal sintered pads like what are on my motorcycle - no dust and great grab. Or ceramics if they are effective. Can anyone tell me what pads should/could be used? Getting technical info on parts is a bit of a chore with this car.

dont put anything but m.b. pads and rotors on this car you will regret it if you do. they squeal like there is no tomarrow.
