Changed plugs and wires the other day and atfter testing car out got message regarding check engine. Brought car to autotozone and they ran there diagnostics and came back with faulty egr valve.

My question is where is the egr valve located. ( Any pics wil help ).

EGR valve is located on the ehaust manifold side of the block toeard the back. It may be that the tube running from the EGR valve and the intake is clogged. This will also trigger that code.

Or since you just changed the plugs and wire connectors check that you did not dislodge a vacuum line or any of the lines going to the egr.Or perhaps break an already dried out old one.

Good point, Those vacuum tubes get awfully brittle.
