If the check engine light is ON, and the idle going up and down it could be the Oxygen Sensor is bad (which leans and enrichens the fuel mixture...) and the engine computer tried to compensate...

ok now that Danfussels problem is quit obvious mine remianes unsolved , however i got a fuel computer for free and a mercedes dealer is puting it in at 7 am tommarow moring ill let you know how that turns out , if it doesnt work my benz is for sale hahahah

New Computer has not solved the problem but it was figured out by the dealer/service department
