Default Malfunction Codes

Hi
I have an E500 2004 that has some codes appearing on the front dash. I was wondering if anyone can tell me what they mean. We are getting a picture of a car with an arrow pointing up from the undercar.
Thanks
Joel

airmatic light is on, that means the car is raising, or supposed to be raising.. you could have a problem with the air suspension.

Hi Joe,
The dash code is for the airmatic ride suspension. Is this a sedan or a wagon? The dealer is going to tell you that you need to replace ALL the air shock absorbers and the compressor for around $7000! The REAL problem is in the wiring harness ( located just over the driver's side inner front wheel well cover) that has the power supply wire that powers the suspension pump! The wire has been stressed to the point of pulling apart and now the pump is unhappy. Have your mechanic look for this and add a splice of wire to relieve the stressed feed power wire and save yourself $6900! If this is a wagon I need to give you another heads up electrical issue. Regards, Bob raymond
