The factory fitted radio for my E230 is turning on but no sound is coming from the speakers. My driver had a problem with the battery the other day (dry cells) and had to jump start the battery. I imagine something must have happened to the radio then but he is not talking. Can someone please help.

 

Had a similar problem. When the battery dies you must reset the code in the radio. The radio won't work without resetting this code. Any dealer will provide the code, you must give them the vin#.
