MAF and Oxygen sensors E 320 4matic wgn
1999 E320 4motion wagon, 103,000 miles. I had the engine light come on and I checked the OBD and it said something about a sensor. I thought it was an oxygen sensor. I bought 2 sensors. Then I came across a forum here, that talked about the MAF sensor. Checking the OBD code book, sure enough it was 172 MAF sensor. The Forum spoke of cleaning with CRC spray and other things. I never used the oxygen senosors, but I will keep them for "someday". I changed the air filter, took the MAF sensor off and vacuumed the air duct and sprayed the sensor with CRC sensor spray, and put it together.
That was 2 or 3 weeks ago, and the engine light is off. This forum has saved me money and I have learned a lot from it.
The forum on resetting the computer, to allow it to match my driving habits was also helpful.
My thanks to all who helped with those projects!
Now if someone can tell me how to sychronise the sun roof, so it will open and close!!??
