Default Lug Bolt Size Question

I have a 2001 E320 with stock rims, I also have a set of rims off the 2005 E500 Sport, I want to put the wheels on my car, but the bolts dont seem to be the same, can anyone shed some light on this situation.

Are you selling the OEM rims for the 2001? If you are could you send a photo along? Thanks

Default RE: Lug Bolt Size Question

bolts for your car are prob 12mm with 12mm ball seat. the length depends on the cross section of the rim at the bolt. generally there should be enough threads sticking beyond the mounting surface by approx 6.5 turns. i'm not familiar with the E500 sport but i kind of have a feeling that it uses 14mm diameter bolt with 14mm ball seat....and possibly the bolt is over 1" shorter.
