help-someone slamed my trunk, and now will not open with remote or key. Any ideas on how to get it open? Thanks

 

try pressing down on the trunk and unlocking using the key (may need two people).

try having someone turn the key (or using cabin switch) and firmly thumping down on the trunk lid (trying to remove pressure on the latch and manipulating the locking mechanism)

 

Thanks-that got it open-still cost me $230 at MB dealer to replace lock.

 

whoa!....why the lock replacement? did something get damaged in the process?
