Hi,
I have a problem with the vacuum on my e220 cdi 2000. I noticed that the small strip underneath the inlet manifold that opens and shuts the butterfly valves via the vacuum assembly has broken one of the connections at the front (number 1 cylinder) I presume. Now I can see that the vave is remaining shut meaning the cylinder in question is running rich and causing the car to lose performance.Is this part of the inlet manifold or can it be repaired without replacing the whole manifold?

Ok, took off inlet manifold to discover the part had broken off inside the manifold ( had to buy new manifold)
