I gotta say...the amenities on Mercerdes are stunning
was just going through this manual for a 1990 300TE and read that the center armrest has a 'lower' position for a more verticle backrest seat position....I went out and checked it out and it's true! The rear door (station wagon) lock provides an extra measure of secuity in addition to the door locks. I reckon if you have something too large to steal through the windows or sunroof (such as a vanity or bed or large body) the extra security will come in handy.Wow, the things I keep findingabout the Mercedes kills me....outstanding..and I've had this damn thing for a year now....cliff
Hi Cliff,
I agree, security is very good on the cars. I have had cars in the past where it took nothing to get the door open, but the MBs are pretty tough to break into. This is more important if you keep a laptop in your car, for example.

Hey Cliff, Did you know the hood flips completely back so you can see service the car easier.
There is a tab on the driver's side hinge that allows the hood to go completely verticle without hitting the windscreen.
