Just purchased a 1989 230TE W124 (Eng 102) Automatic Transmission.
The car JUST refused to go more than 90km/hr(about 60 mph).
Below this speed, everything runs well.
Checked condition of spark plug..OK
Checked exhaust ...no smoke
Just changed fuel filter.
PLEASE help if you know what could be wrong.
