Hi ALL,</P>


We are new to this forum and are in DESPERATE need of help. We are not mechanics and have had to take our car (190E 2.6 1991 model) to have it's rear differential replaced. According to the merc dealer here in Bahrain we ahve the only 190E 2.6 model in the country <IMG src=smileys/smiley17.gif border="0">. This is our question - is it possible to use the rear diff from any other 190E or any other model for that matter? Or must it be the 2.6 model? We hope somebody out there can help us as we are stuck in the middle of a desert with no transport <IMG src=smileys/smiley19.gif border="0">.</P>
