Head Lights
on a 97 e420 does anyone know how to reduce the length of time my headlights stay on after i turn off,remove the key from my vehicle & even lock my car with the remote? on my other vehicle i can adjust the length of time my lights stay on, but i cant find the instructions in my owners manual. thanks

that is not field selectable for your year. you will need to bring
to the dealer to adjust. it may not even be time adjustable,
rather, primitive OFF vs ON.
if you do not wish courtesy lighting to turn ON after exiting vehicle, consider this:
1) turn off headlight,
2) turn key to "0",
3) turn key to "2",
4) turn key to "0" and exit vehicle
