g/box problem

HI can any one help?? just drove back from devon and my mercedes e230 1996 w210 auto box is playing up. THE engine revs high before changing gear but not all the time. the oil level is ok. kick down ok..???????

Check the vaccum lines on gear box which runs above the bell housing
