I have just had to have my exhaust manifold on my E200 (2001) replaced. MB told me that it was cracked and as it was not on a seam it could not be welded. It has cost AUS $2500, a complete rip off. Has anyone else experienced this problem with their MB..?? How does this happen, the tech tells me age and heat but it doesn't add up. Would appreciate your comments.
