Engine Problem
I own a 1994 E420. 56K miles.
In the past 18 months, after the car sits for 7+ days, it starts fine but after 2-3 miles, begins to misfire, huge power loss and some backfiring.
Brief shut down and the catalytic converters are going snap, crackle & pop. If I then let it sit for 7 hours, it runs fine.
Mechanic says it shows no codes.
Help, please!
