My E320 suddenly started misfiring at idle. my mechanic has checked the Air filter, air mass, the actuator and confirmed they where Ok. the last point now is the ECU. the ECU in my car seems to have been reworked. can any one tell me a similar experience and how it was resolved?

 

104 or 112 engine?

try checking the ignition side.
