from USA: Hello everybody, I have a 1997 E420. Recently my audio player (factory) won't turn on. 1st I push the botton & it suddenly turned on after 5 minutes, and then now it just won't turn on. Help me please. I tried to ask mercedes service department and they said new syst. cost about $1500... I wonder if it's fuse problem or whole head syst. SOS!

 

seems like some weak semiconductors inside the unit.

have the electronic shop check it. you might need the radio CODE when removing it.

The Burbank shop was originally started by German immigrants years ago. Now they have younger workers in several thousands sq ft shop. People can drive their MB, BMW and Porsche 200 miles to have them repair the radio.
So, how about adding sex indicators on this forum?
