Default E320CDI Estate. failed suspension?

I have a low mileage current shape E320 CDI Estate that we have owned from new. It is an Avantgarde with sports suspension and 18 inch wheels. Unfortunately the rear suspension appears to have gone US. The car once had a new set of shock absorbers fitted when it was 15 months old having had the same problem. Now the dealer refuses to accept that there is a problem. In short the rear of the car feels like it has the tyre pressure far to hard, there is no compliance in the suspension and everything in the back of the car rattles like hell. Has anyone experienced this problem? It is not fitted with the air suspension just the ride height leveller which I think is standard on all estates. My wife now wont drive the car as it is so unconfortable and the dealer is being very unhelpful, even Customer Service at MB UK will not help as they say the dealer cannot find a fault. Any help appreciated
